Greetings and Happy New Year, Green Roof Technology is very pleased to present the first issue of our quarterly magazine Green Instance: The International Review of Living Infrastructure. For civilizations all around the world, past and present, the year 2012 is more than just a number. On 23 January, the Chinese Year of the Dragon begins and portends a year of success and happiness. The Pre-Colombian Mesoamerican calendar abruptly comes to end on 21 December after nearly 5 centuries. And, the United Nations has declared 2012 to be the International Year of Cooperatives and the International Year of Sustainable Energy for All. Here at Green Roof Technology we are striving to continue growing a thriving network of architects, designers and installers dedicated to the principals of ecological responsibility, bio-diversification, mutual cooperation and universal prosperity. We are excited to announce the introduction of our Sun Root solar green roof system, the first fully integrated solar and green roof system in North America.
